The School of Architecture is located in Engineering College Building II on the east side of Chonnam National University’s Yongbongdong Campus. The students of the architecture program and architectural engineering program share the building. On the first floor is a multi-purpose exhibition hall and a cafeteria; on the second floor are the offices of the architectural engineering professors and graduate students, classrooms, a concentrated library, a modeling room and an accreditation reference room. The third floor has the main office for the architecture program, the offices of the architecture professors and graduate students, a library and classroom, while there is a large-scale multimedia classroom, small and medium sized classrooms, CAAD rooms, the SangJoon Choi memorial hall and the offices of the Biohousing Research Institute on the forth floor. Design studios, which are very important to architectural programs, are located on the second to fourth floor. The Biohousing Research Institute’s lab, which consists of structure experiment labs and unit experiment labs, are connected with Engineering College Building II.
