This lab carries out various research projects on the seismic assessment of reinforced concrete structures, methodologies for earthquake-resistance diagnoses, the strengthening of systems,
structural experimental systems, and optimal structural design integration systems applying computer theory and methodology. It has also conducted numerous research projects on seismic assessment methods for low-rise reinforced concrete buildings, the strengthening of concrete structures using SFRP, optimal structural designs using harmony search algorithms, the seismic assessment of reinforced concrete buildings with piloti and low or medium rise reinforced concrete buildings, the seismic assessment of school buildings, and the seismic assessment of reinforced concrete masonry.
