Urban Design Lab

rban design is based on diverse understanding of mutual relation between human, architectures and cities. Then it is followed by analyzing and planning. This Lab will suggest ideal environment after reflecting this to specific urban space design and planning. Urban design is both theoretical field which applies the characteristics applicable to reality and on-site practice- based Study. For sustainable urban development, this lab has a goal to understand all the architectural elements and problems of the space where we live in and has a goal to obtain the ability for solution plans for future-oriented cities and architectural design.

The basic concept for Future Urban Design in this lab is going to research. Differences between architecture and urban design, the importance of Sustainable Urban Design, understanding diverse urban design fields and theory regarding architectures and cities along with domestic and foreign urban design projects are going to be studied. The Study at this lab consists of the contents which look for access methods in diverse aspects for sustainable development –humane, architectural, urban designing aspects- and the contents to reach the goal of education through actual practice based on theory.
